Beauty News April – Kiko Wears Green and Blue
We’re sure that you’ve noticed it already on the shelves, but recently the green revolution has hit Kiko with a makeup and skincare collection that promotes natural ingredients and respect for the environment (also using recycled materials and ecological paper with organic residues of coffee and citrus).
Among the organic ingredients, we find the Jojoba oil, Argan oil, and Shea butter, as well as olive oil (present, for example, in the Vegan Soap) and the cottonseed oil, used to enrich the formula of the Vegan bronzer. A collection that, both makeup and skincare-wise, relies on 100% natural and beneficial formulas, enhancing a natural kind of beauty without affecting the performance and quality of the brand.
Kiko has also recently launched its Ocean Feel line, a complete range of makeup products for eyes, lips, and face enriched with seaweed extract from sustainable sources, to help in a sensibilization campaign focused on the environment and to ease the burden of our Planet’s already largely polluted Oceans and Seas, plagued by non-sustainable plastic waste and contaminating elements. The formula helps to protect and nourish the skin also with the upcoming summer heat, matching popping colors and summer vibes with skincare that has a light texture and high SPF.

Big news for all the beauty addicts in Europe! Starting April 4th, it will no longer be necessary to cross the ocean to get your hands on Pat McGrath products. Yes, because the “Motherhood” campaign (which will last as long as three months) to welcome “Mother” home has already begun at Selfridges, London: the event marks the beginning of the “homecoming” of the British editor and makeup artist, whose award-winning cosmetic line was, for now, available solely in the States.
For now, London seems to be Pat McGrath Labs’ first step towards Europe but… Who knows? And after all, it’s always more “reachable” than New York.

The model, actress and activist Yara Shahidi revealed her new role on Instagram by sharing some of the shots from the new Bobbi Brown campaign, Confident Beauty, photographed by Tyler Mitchell. Yara also stated that she’s closely familiar with the brand and that this was a “natural step” for her. In fact, Bobbi Brown was always able to meet the skin tone and needs of women in her family: a task that wasn’t easy in the past for deeper shades, but the brand has always strived towards inclusion, adding ten new shades of foundation. Alongside the new role as brand ambassador, Yara will continue with her involvement as an activist and her academic career at Harvard.

One of the international icons of music and elegance, Céline Dion is the new ambassador for L’Oréal Paris.
On April 22nd, a spot featuring the singer and Excellence Crème, a triple-acting professional coloring treatment for hair, will be revealed in a worldwide preview. With a playful and irreverent spirit, the spot was shot in the heart of Paris and marked the official debut of Celine Dion in the L’Oréal family, joining other iconic names such as Julianne Moore.
According to the Maison, the singer fully embodies the mission and soul of the brand, being the perfect representation of strong, self-confident and unique women.
