Golden Globes have been a success this year (like every year), not only for the fascinating world of cinema but also for the fashion and beauty looks that “hit” the red carpet.
Yesterday we wrote about our favorite fashion looks (click here), today we are going to speak about the beauty looks that stunned everyone during the event.
How to copy them? Here the “secret products” to use to achieve the same level of beauty 😉
LILY COLLINS REDDISH BEAUTY LOOK
Lily Collin walked the 2017 Golden Globes red carpet looking like a Pinterest dream. First, her makeup caught our attention. Lily showed off her flawless porcelain skin with dusty rose pink eye shadow, an ode to her gorgeous gown. Her makeup artist (Fiona Stiles) actually used a Lancôme lip pencil (Le Lipstick in Natural Mauve) and a blush (Subtil in Aplum) to create her pink eye look. Then, she used an eye shadow (Lancôme Color Design Eyeshadow in Pink Pearls) to blend it all under the brows. The lipstick was Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge in Souvenir.
BLAKE LIVELY HIGHLIGHTING GAME
She might not have been nominated to the cinema awards, but Blake Lively was nominated to the Golden Globes glam award. This woman seems to glow (together with her dress). And where there is glow…there’s always a highlighter. Lively’s highlighter is available on the drugstore’s shelves, the L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Liquid Illuminator in Golden (of course). In addition to the illuminator, the makeup artist used L’Oreal Paris Infallible Paints Blush Kit, and L’Oreal Paris Infallible Paints Lipcolor in Spicy Blush.
90’s BROWN FOR PRIYANKA
The Quantico star walked the red carpet wearing subtly champagne eye shadow to match her golden dress. Even though, her gown was incredible, her vampy lip was what caught our attention. Priyanka played up her pout with a super-’90s brown color with a hint of cranberry. It matched perfectly with her skin tone. They create a custom color with the Two Lipstick by Laura Mercier in An Affair and Seduction.
SIENNA: THE NEW 60’s
Her makeup artist, Kate Lee, used exclusively Chanel products, flawlessly played up Sienna’s features with lush lashes, clean eyeliner, and a medley of rosy nudes. Lee said: “Sienna’s Look for the Golden Globes 2017 was inspired by Brigitte Bardot and Jean Seberg and that very specific brand of beauty that was born of the 1960s. Beautiful, classic, but effortless.” She used Chanel’s new Crayon de Couleur Jumbo Longwear Lip Crayon.
NATALIE PORTMAN’S OMAGE
Natalie Portman wore a mod-pink lips and a bouffant. It looked like she was paying homage to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (also on the red carpet). The key product was the mix of these lip products: Dior Rouge Dior Lipstick in #762 Opéra, Rouge Dior Lipliner #365 New World Matte and Dior Addict Lipstick #765 Ultra Dior.
BRIE LARSON MATCHING RED LIPSTICK
Brie matched her lipstick to her classic vermilion gown using the well known Nars Cosmetics Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Mysterious Red.
EMMA STONE PINK ALL OVER
Just like Lily Collins, Emma’s pinky gown was mirrored in her rosy shadow, lips, and cheeks. The eyeshadow was the Nars Cosmetics Dual-Intensity in Andromeda.
SOPHIE TURNER GLAM
Her makeup look was created by Makeup Artist Georgie Eisdell for Charlotte Tilbury Beauty. Georgie’s inspirations for Sophie’s look came from the modern, structured Louis Vuitton dress. Sophie’s eyes were the main focus of the look: mesmerising, smokey and sexy. Charlotte’s Luxury Palette in The Uptown Girl was used along the lash line and up towards the crease to create instant drama and smokiness. She finished the look with lashing and lashings of Charlotte’s Legendary Lashes to instantly open the eyes!
KERRY WASHINGTON CONFIRMS PERFECTION
Kerry Washington’s hair and makeup were perfect for the 2017 edition of the Golden Globes. The “Confirmation” actress sported an elaborate Dolce & Gabbana dress that was truly a head-turner and, on the beauty side, we can say she stunned with her lip color, it was a mix of two lipsticks: Dolce & Gabbana Glam 355 and Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Deep Plum.
