The Italian Rêve – Emmys Red Carpet 2017: the Style Winners

An ode to the value of women, minorities and freedom in all its forms, especially the right of expression.
The Emmys 2017 have been characterized by a succession of incitement’s speeches addressed to the public, to America (and many didn’t miss the chance to slip in a negative reference to Trump). The speeches were also directed to the population in its widest concept, in order to encourage everyone to stand, to achieve a concrete improvement, both personal and civic.

Elisabeth Moss, Nicole Kidman, Jane Fonda and Julia Louis-Dreyfus are just some of the winners and guests who have underlined the importance of fighting for our rights: “Women must feel at the centre of their stories and become heroines” Said Reese Witherspoon. Another emotional speech was given by Lena Waithe (author, with Aziz Ansari, of the Master of None‘s episode “Thanksgiving”, in which she references in an autobiographical way to her coming out), the first African-American woman screenwriter to be nominated and win for Best Comedy Writing. She said: “The things that make us different…those are our superpowers”.

But women have also proved to be winners in another category, the fashion one: we have noticed how the Emmy’s Red Carpet has already overcome the Oscars’ one. How many colorful and beautiful dresses have made an appareance during the event! From Zoë Kravitz to Claire Foy, all the participants have shown great elegance and a graceful posture.

But who among them deserves the award as Best Outfit of the evening?
