Bobette Cohn, a wardrobe stylist who works with celebrities such as Elsa Hosk, Caroline Vreeland, and Hilary Rhoda, told us about a versatile and colorful trend, the plaid!
Nice to meet you, I am: Bobette Cohn.
Location: Between New York and Los Angeles.
Trend: The Plaid.

Plaid is a constant, timeless pattern
that never goes out of style.

#Inspo: Plaid is forever dominant on the runway, which is particularly true for A/W’18. It is a constant, timeless pattern that has never gotten old. Hundreds of years ago Plaid, also known by its historical name Tartan, once distinguished different clans in Scotland and dates back as far as 3,000 years. What I love about it is that it looks so modern today in the A/W’18 collections of Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Loewe, Prada, Rick Owens, Versace, Fendi, Christian Dior, and Undercover.
Styling Tip: There are no rules about Plaid. You can mix it with any other patterns, clashing colors and/or with different plaids. It can be worn day to night.
My favorite way to wear it: I love wearing Plaid in the evening, mixing it with sequins or shiny fabrics.
