Stop for a second. Have you ever truly looked at a piece of jewellery?
Not as a simple accessory to match a last-minute outfit, but as an object of intimate, personal value. Something capable of whispering who you are and, above all, who you want to become.
Silvia Giovannetti, a 32-year-old Milanese woman with a solid career in digital marketing, asked herself this question for years. But instead of waiting for the perfect answer from others, she chose to write it herself. Sketch after sketch, setting aside month after month a portion of her salary with the quiet discipline of someone with a precise vision, in 2024 she brought Caramello Gold to life.
This is not the usual story of a start-up funded by major investment firms. This project was born from a gentle stubbornness, from a deep passion rooted in Silvia’s childhood photos, where a small necklace or bracelet was never missing. It took nearly two years of relentless, dedicated work to manage everything: the bureaucratic process, the complex licence for the sale of precious metals, the development of the website, and an in-depth study of gold market dynamics and production costs.

An Everyday Indulgence in 18 Carats
The chosen name immediately evokes something enveloping, warm and irresistible. Every creation signed Caramello Gold is conceived as a small dessert for the soul: the kind of gift one never forgets, capable of carrying an immense emotional weight before any material one. Because true luxury today is not ostentation, but a pure gesture of affection towards oneself. It is that indulgence one grants oneself without needing to justify it to anyone.

All pieces in the collection are rigorously crafted in 18-carat gold (75% pure gold and 25% alloy metals), the perfect combination to guarantee brilliance, malleability, and timeless durability. This is not merely an aesthetic preference, but a true statement of intent: investing in something real, tangible, and made to last.
The design is minimal, clean, and incredibly versatile. Pieces conceived to be worn by day or by night, alone for a chic minimalism, or interpreted through the art of layering.
Imagine layering two or three necklaces, or playing with four rings on the same hand, mixing thicknesses and geometries. The result is a magnificent visual synergy, spontaneous and instantly recognisable, that adapts to the wearer’s personality like a second skin.

From Sketch to Real Craftsmanship
The beating heart of the brand lies in its creative process. Silvia deeply loves the direct exchange with master goldsmiths: watching a three-dimensional, gleaming, perfect object emerge from an almost invisible sketch. Her days as an entrepreneur are never alike, divided between technical precision and the magic of an idea taking shape.
Among the most beloved and iconic pieces stand out the pinky rings, discreet symbols yet endowed with immense character. The brand debuted with a diamond-encrusted chevalier ring – which the founder wears to this day – and has recently enriched the collection with a new pinky design: bold and striking, yet extraordinarily refined.

And so, an intimate question arises naturally: when was the last time we gave ourselves a truly precious gift? Perhaps the time has come to allow ourselves that small, unforgettable dessert.
