We are still in August but, because of the heat of these days that urges us to seek the idea of refreshing or simply thanks to our passion and interest in fashion, something is already pushing us towards the next fall/winter season: We are specifically talking about the presentations of the fashion video campaigns that are invading our social media and that the brands are now proposing so that we can immerse ourselves in the trends, styles and protagonists of the next season (not only intended as a time of the year, therefore!).
There are so many videos worthy of note, all different and particular among them for one or more reasons: we have selected 7 that, we are sure, will capture your attention for the originality and for the unique way of illustrate the features, the clothes and the iconic accessories of each brand. But one can also find an element that binds them together: a clue? Start with the V and ends for Intage… We are talking about the general presentation of the footage and images: a vintage, browsed or blurred, common characteristic that brings us back in time. It is true therefore: “Fashion passes, style remains” and, it would be added, this style takes the name of: Vintage… Good vision!

It is time to go back to dance steps in the 60s/70s, which inspired this video: in particular, it refers to the photographs of Malick Sidibé, who in those decades capture the culture, the fun and the spirit of the young African Community in England. The desire of freedom and spontaneity, of having fun while listening to good music and dancing, are the heart of Gucci’s autumn 2017 campaign together, of course, with the iconic pieces of its latest collection.

Feel like jumping back in time? We think Miu Miu with this video was able to revive the atmospheres and environments of a New Orleans of the past, made however contemporary thanks to the accessories and the clothes presented, characterized above all by the precious inserts, the faux fur and the dominant pastel shades. Just as if we were in a movie, there are also some guest stars, here embodied by the actress Naomie Harris and the supermodel Kate Moss.

The Winter 2017 Stella McCartney Campaign Film | Full Edit
______

Can there be beauty in the waste? This seems to be the question suggested by the video of Stella McCartney shot in Scotland; The stylist, always committed to making buyers aware of the typical waste of the fashion industry, lays the amount of materials thrown away while in the foreground she shows the new pieces of her collection entirely made using innovative and recycled materials. Do we want to leave heaps of waste to future generations or do we want to commit ourselves to reducing and enjoying what we already have? Meditation, fashion and change: There is no more time left, we must act now.
