This is How I Roll
First I perfect the skin buffing foundation and concealer only where needed. Then I sculpt the eye using Rodial Eye sculpt which is a great universal cream shadow I like to use for shading, I work the eyeliner into the lower and upper lash lines blending it out onto the lid, this allows for a great base for glitter.
Using my fingers I gently tap glitter onto the center of the lid and lower lash line. Finishing with two layers of mascara. I then like to use Chantecaille liquid bronzer to shape the face and Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight highlighter on the high cheekbones as well as in the inner corner of the eye and brow bone bringing light to the face. I muted the lips with a light concealer for a natural finish.
When I first started out I used to use heavier foundation and fuller coverage. Over the years I’ve learned that less is more and real skin will always be better than cake face!
My Favorite On Screen Beauty Look
I would have to say Jennifer Connelly in the Ballroom Scene of the Labyrinth. They really nailed the romanticism of the scene. She looked soft, beautiful and innocent.
That movie was a big part of my childhood and I continue to adore it. David Bowie‘s makeup was also spectacular throughout the film. The second runner up would have to be Angelina Jolie in Maleficent. Just stunning, strikingly beautiful yet intimidating.
