When it comes to beauty trends among actresses and Hollywood stars we are used to see all colors happening…literally! Platinum hair, lipsticks of the darkest colors, electric blue eyeliner and many, many more…
This time, however, the trend that is spreading all over the red carpets is one of the most simple, elegant and easy to re-create. In a few words: you don’t need to be an expert make-up artist to be able to achieve one of those looks. It is all about finding the best shade depending on your skin undertone or eye color.
Briefly the trend consist of: gilded and bright eyelids and the glossiest lips you can imagine. No eyeliner or lip liner. In general avoid definition: let shine the natural features of your face and bring light to your eyes.
As you can see the eyeshadow colors range from a warm copper to a colder bronze and gold. All are blended, also on the lower eyelid, with a messy effect. In this way you don’t create too much definition, leaving to the eyes their natural glow!
This trend, seen on the front rows during the Fashion Week in September, continued to be present in many other recent red carpets: for example Amy Adams at the Nocturnal Animals premiere and Dakota Fanning at the one for American Pastoral few days ago.
The best products to use on the eyes to have this effect? Cream eyeshadows with a brilliant finish and easy to blend, even for a sheerer and slightly duo-chrome effect. Among the best, there are for sure the cream eyeshadows by Charlotte Tilbury “Eyes to Mesmerize” in the shades Bette, Jean and Marie Antoinette.
Do you like this trend that seems to bring freshness to the fall season? Or would you rather prefer dark lips and eyeliner?
